Meet Your Host: Brandi Churchwell

13th Juror host Brandi Churchwell, unpacks cases through the lens of an everyday observer.

A Georgia native now living in Florida, Brandi studied psychology and spent much of her career in business management and sports marketing before a Stage 3 cancer diagnosis shifted her path. During treatment, she found herself immersed in the world of televised trials–most notably the Alex Murdaugh case. This marked the start of a second act she never expected–one that turned her longtime true crime obsession into a full-time passion.

With her podcast 13th Juror, Brandi creates a space for listeners to follow the justice system from the perspective of a non-lawyer just like the jurors do. Her storytelling helps make sense of long courtroom days, connecting the dots so listeners don’t have to.
